Leo ශ්‍රද්ධා

In Sri Lanka, religion and culture are the cornerstones of our society, shaping our traditions and values. Every new beginning is initiated with the blessings of our religions, reflecting unity and reverence.

As the Leoistic year 2024-2025 dawned, Leo District 306 C1 celebrated its annual pan-religious blessing pujotsava series, “Leo Shradda,” on July 6th and 7th. This remarkable event showcased the spirit of unity within the Leo community of Sri Lanka, celebrating faith, diversity, and fellowship.

The blessings took place at some of Sri Lanka’s most sacred sites, including:

  • Trincomalee Koneswaram Temple, where the waves echoed prayers.
  • Sri Dalada Maligawa in Kandy, a symbol of peace and reverence.
  • Gangarama Viharasthan in Colombo, a serene spiritual landmark.
  • Meera Maccam Jummah Masjid in Kandy, reflecting warm hospitality.
  • Gatambe St. John’s Church, a tranquil place of worship.

“Leo Shradda” was more than a ceremony—it was a vibrant celebration of diverse beliefs, a testament to collaboration, harmony, and the Leo spirit. Blessings from different faiths came together, laying a spiritual foundation for hope and inspiration.

With this collective strength, Leos of District 306 C1 are poised to make waves of impact through service and leadership. Let’s embrace this energy to create meaningful change in our communities and embody the essence of Leoism.
