From a Dream to a Legacy

Since our founding in 1999 by the late Lion Dhanapala Athukorala of the Lions Club of Kolonnawa, we have stood as a beacon of youth leadership, service, and unity.

What began as a simple yet powerful dream—to give young people the tools to lead and serve—has grown into one of the most distinguished and impactful Leo Clubs in Sri Lanka.

Back in our formative years, we were part of the original Leo District 306 C. As our club matured, we grew into Leo District 306 C1, and now proudly belong to Leo District 306D6—a symbol of our continued evolution, excellence, and dedication to shaping the future.

Under the steady guidance of our first President, Leo Devendra Godawattha (1999/2000), the seeds of greatness were sown. More than two decades later, the legacy still grows.
