District Leo Club Chairperson (DLCC) Visit
As members of the Leo Club, we have the privilege of hosting various district officials at our meetings. These visits offer us valuable opportunities to update them on our club’s progress and achievements. They also give us a chance to interact with district leaders, gaining insights into their perspectives on our work. The feedback we receive helps us understand how we can improve and continue to grow as a club.
On 30th November 2024, we were honored to host our District Leo Club Chairperson (DLCC), Lion Dilruk Tissera, at the Leo Activity Centre, Colombo 07. This visit was an incredible opportunity to showcase our recent efforts and discuss ways to serve the community in Colombo with even greater impact.
A Session of Insight and Camaraderie
Lion Dilruk’s speech was both insightful and lighthearted. While his pointers were incredibly valuable and gave us much to reflect upon, the session was also filled with a sense of camaraderie. His approachable style ensured that we learned while having fun, making the meeting an enjoyable and productive experience for all.
Strengthening Bonds Through Fellowship
The meeting concluded with a fellowship session and refreshments, where our members connected, chatted, and built stronger bonds with one another. It was a perfect way to wrap up the visit, leaving everyone energized and motivated for the tasks ahead.
A Heartfelt Thank You
A special thank you to Lion Dilruk Tissera for joining us despite the gloomy weather and for his patience throughout the session. We may have encountered a few hiccups in the schedule, but your understanding and support were truly appreciated!
We also extend our gratitude to all the Leos who participated in this meaningful event. Your presence and enthusiasm made the day even more special.
With the guidance of our district leaders and the dedication of our Kolonnawa Leos, we look forward to continuing our journey of growth, service, and community impact. Together, we will keep building a stronger Leo community and making a difference, one step at a time.
