Devilled Manioc and King Coconuts

The Lions Family Get Together exemplifies this spirit, uniting Lions, Leos, and their families for a day filled with fun, laughter, and memorable activities. It’s a time to strengthen bonds, not only among Lions and Leos but also with their family members, creating lasting connections.

On 24th November 2024, we, the Kolonnawa Leos, were thrilled to host our Devilled Manioc and King Coconuts stall at the Lions Get Together held at the NCC Grounds, Colombo. While the event is primarily organized by the Lions, we contribute by running our popular stall, which has become a highlight among attendees. Known for its delicious Devilled Manioc and refreshing King Coconuts, our stall continues to draw in Lions and their families, many of whom return year after year to enjoy our offerings. This time, we also served mini bites, adding more variety and making our stall even more popular.

A Fun Day with a Purpose

Beyond the fun and games, the event provides the Kolonnawa Leos with an opportunity to raise funds for our upcoming projects. Our Devilled Manioc and King Coconuts stall plays a crucial role in raising the necessary funds to support important initiatives, such as our annual blood donation campaign in March 2025. The funds raised enable us to carry out meaningful projects that benefit the community in Sri Lanka and beyond.

By the end of the event, our stall had raised more than enough funds for the blood donation campaign, a testament to the incredible support we received.
