Revolutza 2025: A New Era of Leadership for Leos of Sri Lanka & Maldives
Every Leo year begins with hope. But an installation ceremony is never just ceremonial.
It is a pause — a moment where we acknowledge that leadership is not about titles, but about trust. About continuity. About accepting the responsibility to guide thousands of Leo Club members across Leo Multiple District 306 with integrity and care.
The 48th Annual Leo Multiple District Installation Ceremony, held under the theme Revolutza 2025, carried a deeper significance. This was the first installation ceremony following the historic redistricting of Leo Multiple District 306 into twelve districts, uniting Leos across Sri Lanka and the Maldives under a renewed structure of service.
For us, as members of the Leo Club of Kolonnawa, this ceremony marked not just the installation of officers — but the beginning of how leadership will feel in the year ahead.
The Day We Will Remember
Walking into Kularatna Hall at Ananda College, Colombo, the atmosphere was electric. The hall was filled with Leos from every corner of the country — conversations overlapping, badges catching the light, and a shared sense of anticipation in the air.
The black and gold backdrop stood tall, bearing the word Revolutza — a reminder that progress does not discard the past, but builds upon it.
We were honored by the presence of:
- Lion Shyana Jayalath PMJF PMAF, Chief Guest and Multiple Council Chairperson of Lions MD 306 – Sri Lanka
- Lion Nuwan Indunil Bellantudawa PMJF MAF, Guest of Honor and Immediate Past Multiple Council Chairperson
Their words echoed a truth Leos understand deeply: service is a legacy, carried forward when each generation chooses responsibility over recognition.
A Leadership Team Installed to Guide Leo Multiple District 306
With solemn pride and resounding applause, the leadership team for Leo Multiple District 306 – 2025/26 was officially installed:
- Leo Lion Rageesh Yogeswaran MJF PMAF PFLM – Multiple District President
- Leo Lion Rachika Sovis FLM – Multiple District Vice President
- Leo Lion Sajithraj Puganesukumar PFLM – Multiple District Secretary
- Leo Chenara Oshadhi – Multiple District Assistant Secretary
- Leo Lion Theunkshan Sundaramoorhty PFLM – Multiple District Assistant Secretary
- Leo Eshan Kasturiarachchi – Multiple District Membership Chairperson
- Leo Lion Sunera Naveed NAF FLM – Multiple District Treasurer
- Leo Manish Perera – Multiple District Assistant Treasurer
- Leo Lion Shenal Tissera – Multiple District Assistant Treasurer
Providing guidance and continuity were:
- PCC Lion Anver Dole – Multiple District Leo Chairperson
- PDG Lion Placidus M. Peter – Vice Multiple District Leo Chairperson
- Lion Rajitha Abeygunasekara MAF – Leo Lion Council Liaison

When the Twelve District Banners Rose
One of the most defining moments of the Leo Multiple District Installation Ceremony came with the unveiling of the twelve new district banners.
As each banner was raised, the hall erupted in applause. These were not just symbols of administration — they were symbols of identity, growth, and renewed purpose. Each banner represented thousands of Leos, countless Leo Clubs, and the unique spirit each district brings to Leoism.
In that moment, Revolutza felt real.
From Where We Stood – The Kolonnawa Leo Perspective
As Leos of the Leo Club of Kolonnawa, being present at Revolutza 2025 meant more than attendance. It meant belonging.
We clapped until our hands ached, knowing that the leaders installed on that stage — together with every Leo in the hall — will shape how service is delivered, how voices are heard, and how unity is preserved across Leo Multiple District 306.
It was never about names on a list.
It was about leaders willing to listen.
Teams ready to collaborate.
And a movement prepared to serve with heart.
Looking Ahead: Revolutza as a Call to Action
Revolutza 2025 was not merely a theme — it was a call. A call to evolve without forgetting our roots. To innovate while honoring legacy. To remember that leadership, at its core, is an act of service.
As the newly installed officers take charge of Leo Multiple District 306, we move forward together with a shared promise:
